Please check all of the activities in which you would like your students to participate. Please note that some activities are partially or completely weather- and/or cloud-dependent. Dyer Observatory school visits are typically 1.5 hours long.

Note that these dates will be confirmed with Dyer Observatory staff as open dates. If all dates are already taken by other Dyer Observatory events/visits, we will contact you to determine other dates.

In order to process your request, you must acknowledge and accept the following: I acknowledge that Dyer Observatory is a museum setting and that it is expected of guests to be respectful of the observatory staff/volunteers/presenters and property. I acknowledge that unruly guests will be asked to leave the observatory grounds and that parents/guardians are required to remove disruptive/crying children from the room and supervising children while on the observatory grounds. I acknowledge that school field trips are to be no longer than 1.5 hours in duration, that only standard-size (not extended) school buses are able to fit through the observatory gates, and that closed-toed footwear must be worn for the safety of observatory guests. I acknowledge that there is a fee of $5 per student and parent/teacher/chaperone that will be paid before the scheduled programming begins - payment can be made with Visa or MasterCard or by check made out to VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY, and a receipt may be obtained upon payment. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY WE ACCEPT CASH.
