Compliments & Complaints Form

Members of the Vanderbilt University Police Department are committed to providing high quality police services to our community. Appreciation for a job well done and constructive comments assist us in recognizing Department members for their performance and helps improve delivery of services and achievement of goals.

A compliment or complaint can be made at any time by letter, telephone, in person or by submitting an email. Any on-duty supervisor can accept your comments. Your comments are forwarded to the Commander of the Professional Standards Division for review and (in cases of formal complaints) assignment for investigation. On complaints, the complainant will be contacted by a supervisor as soon as possible to discuss the complaint and receive additional information on the investigative process.
