Eligibility For Financial Assistance
• Employee must hold a regular full-time position at Vanderbilt University (temporary, part-time or term positions are not eligible)
• The employee must be employed at Vanderbilt for one full year (hold a regular full-time position) to be eligible for the fund.
• Employees on leave for family and/or medical reasons will be assessed on an individual basis.
• Employees may receive financial assistance up to a maximum of $2,000 every five (5) years.

Application Process
Applications for expenses will be reviewed and approved by Vanderbilt University Employee Critical Support Fund Committee. The committee may request further information before the application can be approved or denied. Individuals will be informed of a decision, along with follow-up instructions.
Awards are automatically provided through direct deposit on next possible pay day. However, special arrangements may be made to pick up a check earlier.
