Join Alan Wiseman and Larry Bartels, renowned Vanderbilt political scientists, in a conversation with U.S. Congressman David Price on “The Congressional Experience: An Institution Transformed," his scholarly book of anecdotes and analysis from his experience serving as a member of Congress through seven White House administrations, from Reagan to Biden, over the past 35 years. Wiseman and Bartels seek to discuss the transformation of Congress with Price, especially through the past two administrations, and if, how and on what issues Congress can unite to strengthen our democracy. The virtual event is hosted by the Vanderbilt Project on Unity & American Democracy and the Vanderbilt University Department of Political Science.
