A Vanderbilt University event, co-sponsored by the Vanderbilt Project on Unity and American Democracy Vanderbilt University and the Vanderbilt Project on Unity & American Democracy will host a live virtual panel on the evolving crisis between Russia and Ukraine, featuring Vanderbilt University faculty historians and foreign policy experts. The panel will address the historical context of the relationship between Russia and Ukraine, the circumstances around an invasion of Ukraine and attempted Russiantakeover, the perspective of potential U.S. military involvement and alternative conflict resolution, the impact on the U.S. government, the geopolitical implications and the humanitarian crisis for those caught in the crossfire.
